Professor Stephen J Hall
Sunway University, Malaysia
Professor Stephen J Hall is Head, Centre for English Language Studies, Sunway University, Malaysia where he has worked for ten years. The Centre has a preparatory Intensive English Programme and over twenty embedded English for Specific and Academic Purposes courses at College and University levels.
Dr Stephen has managed national education projects, been a corporate trainer and trained ASEAN teachers. He has taught university, secondary and primary levels in the Asia Pacific region and has over 45 publications, including 7 books. His Doctorate from Leicester University analyses interaction in the early phases of Malaysian rural in-service education. Current research focuses on reflective practice, native speakerism and integrating digital learning with vocabulary learning. He has been involved in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages since 1979 and began his career by swapping English lessons for learning gamelan in Yogya.
Veronica Triprihatmini, S.Pd, M.Hum, M.A
Sanata Dharma University
Veronica Triprihatmini is a lecturer at the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teachers Training and Education, Sanata Dharma University where she has worked for 22 years. She earned her MA TESOL degree from the Department of Linguistics and English Language, Lancaster University, UK.
Mrs. Veronica Triprihatmini has a wide range of experiences in teaching including curriculum and materials development and professional teachers training programs. She teaches a number of subjects, among others are Critical Reading and Writing, Approaches, Methods and Teachniques, Language Learning Assessment, Micro Teaching, Thesis Writing, and School Management. She has been involved in a number of international seminars, workshops and trainings for teachers and head teachers’ leadership and professional development. Her experiences and concern in teaching and education have made her a consultant in the respected field.
